Ahlstrom announces price increases for beverage materials

Ahlstrom, a global high performance fiber-based materials company, announces price increases on its beverage materials produced by the Food business area. The price increases will be made to compensate for the continued high level of raw material costs as well as utilities-related inflation.

The price increases will affect all beverage related products worldwide and will be effective immediately. The increase will be up to 5% depending on markets, products and the agreements in place.

Beverage products manufactured by Food business area include materials for teabags, coffee pods and capsules. Ahlstrom's Food business area has seven production sites in four countries.
