Ahlstrom announces price increases on filtration materials worldwide

Ahlstrom, a global leader in high performance fiber-based materials, today announced price increases on all its filter media products, as a consequence of the continuous rise of raw materials and energy costs, most of which are at all time record levels.

The price increase will affect all filtration grades produced by Ahlstrom globally and will be effective November 1, 2007. The level of increase will depend on the markets and the constituents of the products. Specific details will be discussed with each customer individually by the appropriate business teams in the coming days.

Ahlstrom's Filtration business area is the leading manufacturer of filtration materials for Transportation, Air and Liquid filtration with 13 production sites across four continents.
