CFO Svante Adde to leave Ahlstrom

Ahlstrom's CFO Svante Adde has decided to leave the company with effect from March 1, 2005. He will be available to support the company as a senior financial advisor based in London. He will also continue as a board member of the joint venture Sonoco-Alcore owned by Sonoco and Ahlstrom.
 
"Svante Adde brought to Ahlstrom a thorough knowledge of international markets and corporate transactions, which has helped Ahlstrom finalize its structural changes to become a focused fiber materials company. He also led our efforts to renew our banking facilities during 2004. During his time at Ahlstrom he has further improved the company's preparation to meet the requirements of the financial and investment communities", says Jukka Moisio, President and CEO of Ahlstrom.
