Ahlstrom-Munksjö awarded by Avery Dennison in global supplier recognition event

During a ceremony held in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, on April 2, 2019, Ahlstrom-Munksjö was one of the companies recognized with the Supplier Distinction Award by Avery Dennison, a world leader in pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) materials for labels and graphic applications, and a global customer for Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s specialty papers.

While observing that high quality and consistency of these materials is key to ensure flawless conversion of pressure sensitive products in Avery Dennison’s process, as well as in the further stages of the value chain, Avery Dennison management commented that “This winning supplier demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of our quality requirements while delivering service excellence. They continue to focus on innovation and sustainability, making them a world class supplier.”

In the light of the recent acquisitions in 2018, which strengthened Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s ability to support customers both in North and South America, Jeroen Diderich, Avery Dennison’s Vice President and General Manager Labels & Graphic Materials, Europe, also highlights: “Their commitment of continuous investment in multiple regions, while aligning with Avery Dennison’s growth strategy, strengthens our relationship in the pressure sensitive arena.”

The award received in 2019 is the fourth recognition honoring Ahlstrom-Munksjö in the short history of these important industry events.
